AMX110 & AMX II Motor Controller Assembly. G.E. Part
The design matches the form/fit/function of the original design with the following improvements:
This new design incorporates a digital pulse width modulation circuit with modern drive components. The output is a 50 amp 600 volt IGBT. There are 2 potentiometers. (Slow and Fast) on the board. This allows calibration of the board to obtain full range of motion on the speed control potentiometer mounted on the handle.
With this improved design, less heat is generated (loss) and the drive is consistant all the way down to (50 volts battery supply). The pulse width modulation is always the same from board to board (consistancy).
Calibration of the board can be accomplished with the motor disconnected. (This is easily done while the board is being replaced). Adjustment instructions and the schematic are included with the assembly.

Modulation ratio has been increased to 98%. This is useful when increased motor drive is required by the customer even though this may surpass the OEM specification..
Note: With the high current output capability, this is likely to be the last motor control board to be installed.
