Features:

See the schematic for pin outs and connections.

Description:

The default firmware utilizes IO7 from the Brightsign to run the DMX light controller.  When IO7 goes high the DMX channels are turned on.  When IO7 goes low, the DMX channels are turned off.

Fade: Fade duration is selectable via jumpers on the board. The fade duration range is 0 to 6 seconds in 1 second intervals. See the schematic for the fade table.

Note: The default firmware sends out the DMX signals to channels 1-4.  All channels the same.  Please inquire if you need custom DMX firmware.  I.E. The lights on channel 1 fade off, but the lights on channel 2 stay on (or they stay on for a while after channel1 has turned off.  Any combination can be obtained.  Custom firmware (unless complicated) is usually only $50 to program.

Note: External Supply Voltage:  An External Power Supply is needed to power the loads on the output connector.  Do not connect any loads that have their own power that exceeds the power as applied to the board using the 'Ext. Power Connector'.  Doing so may result in damage to the board.  I.E. Suppose that 12 volts is supplied to this board and you have a relay board with it's own power of 24Volts DC that powers the relays.  The 24VDC will feed back into the board via the foldback diodes.  Note: Foldback diodes are required for inductive loads such as relays or small motors.
