RS232_TTL Adapter BOARD
This adapter allow use of your computer to emulate the BrightSign TTL port or to use the computer to view the data that you are sending out the BrightSign TTL port. With this adapter and a suitable 'Terminal Program' on the Computer, you can speed up develop and test the strings (data bytes) sent to the HMS boards prior to using the BrightSign to do this during 'run'. The trial and error using BrightSign can take hours or days. This adapter can reduce the development time for control of the HMS boards to minutes. The exact 'string' that you want to send to the HMS boards can be tested prior to using BrightAuthor to send the strings. This board helps to implement control strings for DMX heads!
Because of the new 'command structure' boards, it is highly recommended that you develop your control strings using this adapter.
