PIR_Z

PIR-Z and PIR-Z-MR (MR=Moisture Resistant for outdoor use)
'Passive Infrared Motion Detector' Suitable for HD410, HD810 & HD1010
Features:
The RJ/11 connections are as follows (requires 6 conductor telephone cable)
Note: It is recommended that both wires be tied together as specified below)
0V = Red and Green (GPIO-0V)
3.3V = Black and Yellow (GPIO-3V)
MD (Motion Detect goes low with detection) = Blue and White (GPIO-BTNx)
Description:
The 'Z-dots' PIR board is utilized and is mounted to the right end of the 'mother board' as show in the picture above.
This 'Z-dots' board has sensitivity range from about 10ft to 5ft. Counter-clockwise (from the box access) is maximum sensitivity or about 10 feet. Clockwise the sensitivity is about 4 or 5 feet
The Pulse Delay adjust the duration of the 'move detection' pulse. Counter clockwise (from the box access) is minimum pulse duration (about 2 seconds). Clockwise is maximum pulse duration of about 12 minutes. This feature is not linear. Very little clockwise movement of the pot sets several to many seconds of detection pulse duration.
Note: The typical connection to any most HMS interface boards is a 3 pin Molex connector (order the HMS-6PH-MX-xx Cable). Pin 1 is ground (0 volts), pin 2 is MD (Motion Detect) and pin 3 is 3.3V. Manual connections can be made to any HMS Interface board that has 3.3V interface. For connections to terminal block order the DB15-TB10-3V terminal block adapter and the HMS-6PH-TB-xx Cable (xx is the number of feet).
Note: The PIR 'averages' the scene over time. It may take a couple of minutes for 'storing' the scene in memory after power up.
Note: Does not work through glass.
